This page explains how returns and refunds work for each product type, so you know exactly where you stand before and after buying.
If anything is unclear, reach out at support@buildwithpros.com before purchasing. Any question is welcome.
Where a purchase carries a statutory right of withdrawal, that right can be exercised using the cancellation function on BuildWithPros.com. It is linked in the footer of every page and in your order confirmation, and stays available for the whole withdrawal period. A confirmation of receipt is sent by email.

How Returns and Refunds Work, At a Glance

Digital products (videos, audiobooks, PDFs)
- Customer buys, access is provided immediately

Coaching

- Sessions normally start after the withdrawal period has passed

Clothes
- Order received, email support within 14 days
- Ship item back (customer pays return shipping)
- BuildWithPros inspects (must be unused, unwashed, original packaging)

Duties and import taxes
- Refund before dispatch, full refund of duties
- After dispatch or cleared by customs, duties typically not refundable
Digital Products
This section covers video guides, audiobooks, and PDF guides.
All digital content is made available straight after purchase, so you can get started right away. Access is provided through the download button in the order confirmation email and, for customers with a customer account, from the order page in that account. Video files and full-length audiobook files can be streamed in the browser or downloaded. PDF guides can be read in the browser or downloaded. Audiobook chapter archives must be downloaded, as archives cannot be streamed.
Because digital content is made available immediately, EU law (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU) provides that the right of withdrawal does not apply once delivery has begun, provided the customer has given express consent to this. By completing a purchase, the customer confirms this consent. For this reason, BuildWithPros is unable to offer refunds once access to the content has been provided.

Keeping Access to Your Files
Purchased digital products remain available for as long as BuildWithPros operates the Services. A customer account is the reliable way to find them again, because it gathers every purchase on one page rather than depending on you keeping the order confirmation email.
Downloading and keeping a local copy is recommended for all formats. Files saved to your own device stay in your possession regardless of any future change to the Services. See the Terms of Service for full details on account access and the limits of lifetime access.
Customer Acknowledgement
When completing a purchase of a digital product, the customer confirms the following:
- Immediate delivery of the digital content is requested.
- By requesting immediate delivery, the right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU is waived.
- Downloading and backing up purchased files is the customer's own responsibility.
- This Refund Policy and the Terms of Service of BuildWithPros.com have been read and accepted.
Coaching
Pro-level coaching with Shawn Ray is a personal service delivered as two 30-minute sessions on WhatsApp or FaceTime, reserved for one customer at a time.
14-Day Right of Withdrawal
Coaching carries a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. The period starts on the date of purchase, and no reason is required.
To withdraw, use the cancellation function on BuildWithPros.com or send an email to support@buildwithpros.com with your order number. A confirmation of receipt is sent by email. Refunds are issued within 14 days of BuildWithPros being notified, to the original payment method.
When Sessions Are Scheduled
Sessions are normally scheduled to begin once the withdrawal period has passed, so that the two do not overlap. Most customers are still deciding when to start in the first couple of weeks anyway.
If you would like your first session sooner, that is arranged individually and confirmed by email at the time. In that email you are asked to request that coaching begins within the withdrawal period, and you are told what it means for a later cancellation.
If You Cancel
Cancel before any session has taken place and you are refunded in full.
Cancel after one session, having asked for coaching to begin early, and the refund is reduced in proportion to the coaching already delivered. With two sessions of equal length, that means roughly half the purchase price is returned. This follows Article 14(3) of the Directive.
Once both sessions have been completed, coaching is fully performed and the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
After the Withdrawal Period
Once 14 days have passed from the date of purchase, coaching purchases are final.
Rescheduling
Agreed sessions can be rescheduled at no cost up to 48 hours before the agreed time. Requests made within 24 hours of the session may be declined at Shawn Ray's discretion, in which case the session counts as used.
Expiry
Coaching must be redeemed within 6 months of the date of purchase. Unused sessions after this period expire without refund.
Non-Transferable
Coaching is non-transferable and can only be delivered to the original purchaser.
Clothes
When you buy clothes from BuildWithPros, you have a full 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. If something does not fit or meet your expectations, here is how to return it.
Right of Withdrawal
You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to notify BuildWithPros that you wish to return it. No reason is required. Simply send an email to support@buildwithpros.com with your order number before the 14-day period expires.
To ensure the return can be accepted, please make sure the following conditions are met:
- The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition and packaging.
- Your order number and contact details are enclosed with the return.
- The item reaches BuildWithPros within 14 days of your withdrawal notification.
- Return shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer.
Once the return has been received and checked, a refund will be issued within 14 days to the original payment method. Please note that BuildWithPros holds the refund until the item has been physically received and its condition confirmed.
Exchanges
BuildWithPros does not process direct exchanges. If you need a different size or variant, simply place a new order and return the original item following the steps above. Shipping costs for both the return and the new order are covered by the customer.
Duties and Import Taxes
For international orders where duties and import taxes are collected at checkout (delivered-duty-paid shipping), the following applies to refunds:
Refunds Before Dispatch
If an order is refunded before it has been dispatched from Denmark, duties and import taxes collected at checkout will be refunded in full along with the product price and shipping cost.
Refunds After Dispatch
If a refund is processed after the parcel has been dispatched, BuildWithPros will refund duties and import taxes only if the carrier confirms that these amounts have not yet been remitted to local customs authorities. Once duties have been paid to customs on the customer's behalf, they are typically not recoverable from the carrier and may not be refunded.
Returned Goods
For clothing returns shipped back from international destinations, customers are responsible for any duties or taxes that may apply to the return shipment to Denmark, as well as the cost of return shipping. The original duties and import taxes paid at checkout are not refunded once the parcel has cleared customs in the destination country.
Return Address
Please use the address below for clothes returns only. Digital products cannot be returned, and coaching is withdrawn using the cancellation function rather than by post, as explained in the sections above.

Affiliate Products
This policy covers purchases made directly on BuildWithPros.com. Nutrition products listed on BuildWithPros.com under affiliate partnerships are fulfilled directly by the affiliate partner under their own terms and return policy. Refund and return requests for affiliate products must be directed to the partner, not to BuildWithPros. The partner's terms apply to all such purchases. Affiliate products are clearly labelled on the relevant product pages.

If a matter cannot be resolved directly, EU consumers have the right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Customers in Denmark may also contact the Danish Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrugerklagenævnet) at forbrug.dk.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes take effect when published on BuildWithPros.com. The version in place at the time of purchase is the one that applies to that order.
By placing an order on BuildWithPros.com, the customer confirms having read this policy and agrees to its terms, as well as to the Terms of Service of BuildWithPros.com.
